Katadesis

For two millennia, the Library of Katadesis has remained hidden. Empires have fallen, kingdoms have risen, and the world has turned—oblivious that the knowledge of five thousand years has been meticulously documented and safeguarded within its walls.

BOOK ONE – KATADESIS

In 1912, Wilfrid M. Voynich acquired a manuscript from the Jesuits at Villa Mondragone, near Frascati. Illustrated with unidentifiable flora, astrological charts and anatomical figures, it was written in a script never seen before.

Where the record ends, this story begins.

In the hush of Santa Prassede, a man lies arranged like a penitent, his throat cut. A woman slips into the night — in her grip: I Segreti dei Savi, a ciphered manuscript. Older than scripture. Older than the Flood.

A veteran Redemptor for the Library of Katadesis, Professor Chu retrieves what history tried to erase. He seeks to protect the manuscript. Il Corvo Nero seeks to possess it.

Something older than both is already awake.

Sapientia

From the vast expanse of the Antarctic to the opium dens of Shanghai, Chu continues his search to unravel the mysteries of the manuscript, a puzzle that will challenge both his skills and resolve. Some claim it contains the knowledge of the seven prophets of antiquity, while others dismiss it as a hoax. But he is not the only one determined to solve it. As Katadesis struggles to adapt to a rapidly changing world, they must confront the possibility of a traitor within their midst.

Isotheos

The library at Isotheos has stood at the heart of Katadesis since its inception. As Europe—and the world—stand on the precipice of the Second World War, the knowledge safeguarded within its walls has become the ultimate prize for those determined to uncover its location. Now, Katadesis must face a decision that could alter the course of history: share its knowledge with the world or destroy it forever.

Dolis

As Katadesis fades into myth and the legacies of Turing and Tesla are forgotten, a new form of communication begins to dominate. The internet ushers in the age of Dolis—derived from the Latin meaning untrue, deceit, dishonesty, and duplicity. Chu and his work have been consigned to obscurity, just as he intended. Now, a new generation must seek light in the darkness and uncover the truth buried deep within the metaverse.

Metis

The Metis Polar Station has lain dormant for many years. After nearly a century, is it finally ready to yield its secrets?  The past and future converge in this concluding chapter of The Katadesis Chronicles. Knowledge is power—how we choose to use it will define us.
